Acceleration Isn’t Collapse
We Might Not Be in a Bubble. We Might Be in the Future.
Lately, I’ve noticed something consistent across conversations with people and companies that still have options.
Founders. Operators. Investors. People inside high-growth companies. People who have been close to the edge of technology for a while.
No one sounds panicked. But almost everyone sounds unsettled.
The language we tend to reach for when that happens is familiar.
“This feels frothy.”
“This feels unsustainable.”
“This must be a bubble.”
That framing makes sense. It’s the mental model we’ve inherited for moments when things move faster than our intuition or paradigms can keep up.
But I’m starting to wonder if that’s not what we’re actually feeling right now.
What if what we’re experiencing isn’t fragility, but acceleration?
